Nigel established Cressida in late 2002 as a non-bank commercial property financier. In a crowded market at the time Cressida had two key differences, it was privately funded and only wrote first mortgage backed loans. As a result Cressida was one of the few New Zealand non-bank lenders to successfully navigate the Global Financial Crisis and has continued to expand its market offering and capability since then. Nigel appreciates working with a professional and service orientated team to grow the Cressida brand and broaden the many strong and enduring relationships enjoyed across the finance sector. Nigel holds a BA/Bcom from Auckland University and was a Chartered Accountant in a former life.
